Helix Medical to Supply W. L. Gore & Associates with Silicone Tubing for Biopharmaceutical Products
Helix Medical, LLC, manufacturer of the HelixMark® line of fluid handling products and a global manufacturer for the medical device industry, announces that it will be supplying silicone tubing to the PharmBIO Products business unit of W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. (Gore). Gore will incorporate silicone tubing manufactured by Helix Medical within single use assemblies for its global pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical customers.

The collaboration with Helix Medical will also enable Gore to expand our efforts around GORE® STA-PURE® Pump Tubing, Fluid Sampling System, and molded tubing assemblies to serve our customers better,” said Ken Parker, Global Sales Leader.
Helix Medical provides silicone extrusion in the United States, Europe, and in Costa Rica beginning in the first quarter of 2012. All Helix Medical facilities worldwide are certified ISO 13485 and extrusion takes place within Class 8 cleanrooms.
